moved into my own apartment (lived by myself for the first time ever)
oh, and i got a pedicure for the first time. it was nice.

i don't make new years resolutions

yes, my cousin nikki had a baby boy, Ethan Jeffery in april, i think

no, thankfully, but it seems like i had a lot of friends who had losses in their families this year.

i'm not very good at remembering dates. December 17th pops out at me probably because it's recent and it was elevator division's last show. 4th of july was pretty cool this year too.

john, Marisa and my sister threw me a party and the newly opened record bar the day i turned 26. we all had dinner at sol azteca before hand. i think it was sort of supposed to be a surprise but john can't keep secrets so he told me beforehand. he got Andrew ashby and thommy Hoskins to play for me and bought me a cake and decorated the bar. then i got in a big fight with him for smoking at my birthday party.

semi-interesting facts about the day.

* the krispie kreme donut truck cannot go over 62 miles per hour. not 60, not 65, but 62. what will happens if the donuts travel at a speed higher than 62, i wonder?

* condoms, are on clearance at the wal-mart in liberty. yes, condoms. strategically placed somewhere between the ugly two dollars pink purses and the kitchen chair seat covers in the clearance aisle. i know i won't be needing any anytime soon, but i thought i'd spread the word just in case anyone else is in need.

and somehow i went to wal-mart with 8 things on my shopping list and ended up spending more than 100 dollars. i kept thinking oh i need this, oh i want that, and with wal-mart not just three minutes away anymore i feel the need to get everything i need in one trip so i don't have to go back for awhile.

i'm supposed to be at the brick right now but i can't get myself motivated to leave the house.
